The symptoms
Battery Health in the low 80s or worse. A phone that dies at 30%, shuts down in the cold, or crawls because iOS is throttling a tired battery to keep it alive. If Settings → Battery → Battery Health says “Service,” your battery is telling you itself. And if the screen or back is bulging, stop charging it and get it repaired promptly — a swollen battery is the one symptom that shouldn't wait.
Why batteries wear out
Lithium batteries are consumables: every charge cycle slightly reduces capacity, and after a few hundred cycles the chemistry simply holds less. No setting or app recovers worn capacity — the fix is a new cell, and it makes an old iPhone feel dramatically newer.
What we install — and one honest note
We install a new, tested battery and verify charging, capacity reporting, and power delivery before return shipping. One thing worth knowing upfront: on newer iPhones, iOS displays a “parts and service” notice in Settings for any battery Apple didn't install itself — including high-quality ones. It's informational only; charging, battery life, and every feature work fully. We'd rather you hear that from us than discover it in Settings.
